If you feel that The Big Year may be for you, the next stage is to complete an application form, along with references. These may be downloaded using the links below, or alternatively you can contact us and we will be happy to send you the forms. Upon receipt and processing of your application we will contact you and organise an interview to finalise whether we are all in agreement regarding your participation and choice of Track.
Applications for the 11/12 year should be made by the end of August '11. Please contact us regarding late applications. If you are awaiting exam results and not sure what your next steps are we would advise that you contact us and register your interest prior to the end of July, regardless of whether you end up submitting an application or not.
In order to apply please download the Application form and the Reference form (these are Microsoft Word files). We require two referees - one must be your Church Leader or Youth Leader, and the other a Christian friend. (These same documents are available in PDF format here: Application form and Reference form)
Please e-mail the forms to Di Chapman at bigyear@riverchurch.org.uk. The referees must e-mail the forms from their own e-mail account. If you or your referee do not have access to e-mail please post them to the address above.
Please note that all applications are subject to approval by the BIG year team.
