River Church in High Wycombe?

Duncan Hill (09/06/2009 21:04)

Maybe I just imagined this, but was there a River Church in High Wycombe some years back?

I was a pupil at the Royal Grammar School and I remember some girls from the church's youth group came to give a quick talk during assembly.

regards,

No, we didn't have a congregation in HW but we used to go regularly to RGS to do assemblies. Glad you remember!

Ah yes, used to have to get up at 5.45am for them, to set up, but it was always well worth it!
Funniest one, for me, was when I asked Rob H came along to speak and I thought I would have to over-rule him and take him off, when he opened his mouth and talked first about mud-wrestling (!) then called everyone, passionately, to get up and join in a revolution(!!) V good talk, but ... fleetingly scary for me, hahah, thanks for the heart-attack, Rob!
The Head was very open to us coming along and doing our thing.
Sheila :)
