Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry

Since 2005 River Church has developed a relationship with Bethel Church, California. As we have begun to pursue the Lord for breakthroughs in healing and spiritual authority we have sought to build links with those that have gone further than ourselves. Bethel, led by Bill and Benni Johnson, have managed to break through in this area and impact their whole community with both the love and power of God. They are reguarly seeing in the region of 400 healings a week - only a small percentage of these happen within the walls of the church; the rest happen as people go about their daily lives. This is all part of a growing agenda that is seeking to impact their community in every way spiritually, emotionally and physically. For more information on Bethel Church please visit their website www.ibethel.org   The BIG Year incorporates parts of the Bethel School of Supernatural MInistry Curriculum.* This curriculum is designed to inspire and teach people to live a lifestyle that brings heaven to earth in love and power. Below is some information on the curriculum.   Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry: The Mission Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) is committed to the truth that God loves people, gave Himself for them and has given His Church supernatural power to bring individuals and nations into wholeness. God is in a good mood! Inaugurated in 1998 with 36 students, the school emphasizes that believers need to return to the ministry of signs and wonders—to minister in the love, truth and the power of God. The mission of BSSM is to equip and deploy followers of Jesus Christ who passionately pursue transformation in their God-given spheres of influence. In the 2007/2008 school year, more than 720 students were trained to continue in the ministry style of Jesus: to enjoy the presence of God, say what He is saying, and do what He is doing.     The DVD Curriculum This DVD Curriculum helps churches such as ours to supplement current teaching material with the supernatural. The dynamic group of speakers includes Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Danny Silk, Bernie Ooley and Mark Brookes who bring transforming messages of the revival culture, activation, healing, the prophetic and Bible history to equip the Church to see God’s Kingdom manifested on Earth.   *Please note that these DVDs will be used alongside teaching from guest speakers and the River Church team.
