How is the year structured?

The year runs from September – July. Each week the two key ‘building blocks’ are:

*  Monday morning/all day Tuesday teaching, worship and personal ministry
*  ‘An Audience with….’ Thursday evening meal and interview with a variety of ministry leaders from inside and outside of River Church.

(For more information on the components of the year please click here)

These are interwoven with service and ministry opportunities, study projects, reading weeks, and special courses and conferences (see the 'Other elements of the year' section for further information).
The year is offered with a choice of three tracks. The exact content of each will be adapted to suit the needs of participants:

Track 1: offers a full-time, intern style opportunity. This includes all teaching sessions, courses, projects and basic ministry opportunities – plus further mentoring, ‘ministry-shadowing’ (with options to choose particular areas of interest), and closer involvement in leadership experiences.

Track 2: This option includes all teaching sessions, courses, projects and basic ministry opportunities, but also leaves time in the week for part-time employment.

Track 3: For those with time each week for the regular ‘building block’ teaching and ministry sessions, but who would like the flexibility to purchase further courses/trips as required.
