Welcome - whether you are just starting university or have already got going we invite you to explore the opportunities and challenges of studentdom with us by being connected into a local Church community as 'missionaries' at university. River Church is a network of congregations across the Thames Valley, Marlow, Maidenhead, Slough and The Journey in Englefield Green. We warmly welcome you to make a home with us.

 If you are preparing to go to university this autumn then get linked up with Fusion who are partnering with Churches across the UK for Student Linkup - a resource to equip and inspire you for the challenges and opportunities ahead as you go to uni. There is a Fusion website with allsorts of helpful stuff for starting uni and Facebook groups to help link you in when you reach your town or city. The River students cell gathers over the summer before sending you to uni, and then catch-ups in the holiday breaks to provide space for support and friendship.

 The Love Your Uni Tour has travelled the breadth and depth of the UK visiting over 20 universities to gather students to seek God heart for their unis, one of which was Royal Holloway, University of London. The tour has been resourced by Fusion, in partnership with local Churches and Christian groups will encourage and create space for students to love your uni.

 Jesus Culture returns to the UK in the autumn 2010 with Banning Liebscher, Kim Walker and Jesus Culture team. Jesus Culture is from Bethel Church in the USA, and is stirring a global movement seeking to empower a generation in supernatural ministry. The JCuk conference weekend iwill be in Lesicester 24-26 Septemberr 2010 with several other evening events across the UK. More information at River events.
River Church Student Reps are based in each of our congregations to support and help you get involved with the Church and be resources and encouraged as students at university.
