The Bethel Sozo Ministry was birthed in 1997 from Bethel Church, Redding, California (www.ibethel.org) to aid individuals in inner healing, freedom and connection to the Godhead. Since 1998, the Bethel Sozo Ministry has been traveling across the United States and internationally; training, equipping, and empowering other churches and organisations to start their own Sozo Ministry. In July of 2008, to better assist those ministries that have been launched by Bethel Sozo, the International Bethel Sozo Organization was created by Bethel Sozo leaders: Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher.
1: a) to save b) to heal c) to deliver
2: to save a suffering one, to make well, heal, to deliver from pnalties of the Messianic judgment
SO, WHAT IS SOZO?
The Sozo ministry is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thus with a healed connection with Father, Son and Holy Spirit you can walk in the destiny to which you have been called.
Sozo is an inner healing/deliverance ministry
Sozo is simple, fast, Spirit led and effective
Sozo finds issues in minutes instead of years
Sozo helps heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfill your destiny

We have a growing lively group of men and women in River Church who have been taught the Sozo ministry principles, some have attended both Basic and Advanced courses led by Bethel staff Teresa Liebscher and Dawna Da Silva, or from in-house training. It is our expectation to train more individuals over time, and continue being trained in these tools for our own continued development. Additionally, we are also connected with the UK representatives of Bethel Sozo UK for mentoring and regional Sozo networking.
We offer Sozo appointments to any adults who would like to come for a facilitated appointment; you do not have to be a member of River Church. We can offer appointments to young people in consultation with parents/guardians.
