Our Offering

At each Sanctuary meeting, we provide the opportunity to give an offering to the Lord as part of our worship.  This money is used to fund the Sanctuary and also to support a charity - which we change each year.

2009 - 2010 - Re:Charge

This year, our chosen charity is Re:Charge.  Re:Charge is based in Maidenhead and provides a cafe and drop-in centre for teenage Mums during the day, and for the youth of Maidenhead in the evenings (currently Tuesday and Friday).  Both a "cool place to hang-out and also a place for advice, support with Christian roots, Re:Charge is a vital part of our local community.

2008 - 2009 - Berkshire Women's Aid

Berkshire Women's Aid help support women who are victims of dometic abuse - providing support and advice, and where necessary a safe house for women who need it.  They also support these women in starting over - setting up home again from scratch.  In 2008-09, we donated £100 to this special charity.

2007-2008 - Uganda Women Concern Ministries

In 2007-08, we supported Uganda Women Concern Ministries - who support families affected by AIDs – mainly with education for the teenagers so that they can get a job and support their families, but also with shelter improvement and food/clothing.   We donated £100 to this very worthwhile charity.
