Nepal Update Easter 11

Happy Easter to you all

Attached is an update on some of the work in Nepal, with emphasis on each of the 4 great men who head up the HUCFN - Pastor Gyan, Pastor Lok, Pastor Biru and Pastor Anand. Do read about all they have been doing recently - and use this as a reminder to pray for them! Anand has included some prayer points for each of thee men, it is good to support them in this way. Some photos are attached too.

Milan has also sent us some prayer points for the work in Kathmandu:

  • Since two months we are renovating and building few rooms at the church for office, Sunday School, store etc. Once we have started the work we have decided to build the baptism pool etc. We would value your prayer and support for this work.
  • A two weeks residential Bible training has started from last week and there are 20 students from different parts of Nepal. It is going on really well.
  • As you know we have 5 Church planters in the different districts. All of them have heart to serve the Lord. Similarly we have one missionary in the North India, Manipur. Currently we are looking for some sorts of sponsors for them. So we value your prayer for the same. We shall be please to partner with individuals, churches or mission for this. We have Simon Thapa who works as a coordinator in this ministry (Aanandit Church Network, this involves, Church Planting, Training and Sending missionary) needed one motorbike to travel, please pray for this.
  • Amishu has finished her exam and now looking for the new semester. She is upgraded in Grade II. Shusma is as usual busy to teach and preach at the church at the training and among ladies group.

So do continue to pray for our friends. Also please remember the Big Year team who are going on a trip to Nepal in May. They will be travelling up to Jiri and will be there for a reuion with all the past and present students of the bible training centre, as well as for the graduation of the current batch. Pray that it will be an encouraging time for all!

Thanks a lot,

Jill
