The Pitching 2008

1 - 3 August: Eweleaze Farm, Nr Weymouth, Dorset

The pitching is the annual Journey weekend camping trip. This year we will be returning for the second time to Eweleaze Farm on the south Dorset coast from 1st - 3rd August.

Eweleaze Farm is an organic farm which opens up its fields to campers every summer. It has it's own 1/2 mile of private beach and a farm shop selling a variety of produce from the farm including chicken, beef, eggs and milk. They are also now licensed and sell their own organic drinks. Camp fires are allowed and there is normally would lying around the site which can be used to build a fire!!!

We will be heading down from Egham on the Friday evening leaving at around 6 although times will be confirmed nearer the time. If it would be easier for you to meet us there than that is fine as well!! We will then be returning on Sunday afternoon.

The cost of the weekend is £24 for adults and £12 for children aged 5-14. This just covers the camping. Food will probably involve a visit to a local pub on the Saturday and a BBQ Sunday lunch. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be a bring and share affair!!

This year the farm have changed their booking system and so the money will need to be paid to them by Friday 18tth July. Therefore if you could book youself in on the form on this page as soon as possible and then get the money to me by Wednesday 16th July at the latest that would be excellent. I have made the booking with a rough guess of numbers but can change it according to how many people book in.

Fill in this form to book your place. In the tent field put if you have a tent or not and if you do how big is it and do you have room for anyone else if there are people coming with no tent!! In the transport field put if you have your own transport and if so where are you going from and will you be able to take anyone else with you!!!
