How did you learn about Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary?

I learned about MECS from my pastor.

Why did you choose MECS?

I need theological education to be a better minister. My pastor recommended Moscow Seminary to me. In Kazakhstan Christian community MECS is widely known, for its level of education, programs, and curriculum, providing a quality theological education. The Seminary also has a dormitory and scholarships.

What will be your ministry while attending seminary?

My desire is to serve God while attending Seminary as a preacher and assistant to a pastor.

Give a short testimony about how you came to Christ.

My road to God was long and difficult like serpentine highway in the mountains.  I owe my conversion to my mother. She was the first in the family to know Christ Jesus and brought along the whole family, but me. For a long time I did not want to listen to her reasons. As time went on our house started filling with all kinds of religious literature including Bibles. When I had nothing to do I read this literature and the Scriptures as well. Gradually, I felt the interest and got hooked. My mother noticed it and kept on praying for me more fervently.

What are your plans for future ministry after graduation?

I want to become a teacher of Theology, if it is the will of God I want to become a Dr. of Theology and teach at the Seminary, disciple new students eligible to proclaim the kingdom of God.
