How did you learn about Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary?
I learned about MECS from my pastor.
Why did you choose MECS?
I need theological education to be a better minister. In Kazakhstan Christian community MECS is widely known, for its level of education, programs, and curriculum providing good and quality theological education. The Seminary has dormitory, scholarship. Good Russian and English language programs.
What will be your ministry while attending seminary?
My desire is to serve God while attending Seminary as a preacher and assistant to a pastor.
Give a short testimony about how you came to Christ.
I was born in a Christian family. My parents are strong and deeply rooted believers. From the very beginning of my life I was brought up in accordance with Christian traditions and would attend Pentecostal church with my parents. At the age of five I was converted. I accepted Jesus in my heart fully, totally and irrevocably. Many years have passed, but the memory of my conversion is still vivid in my heart. Since that moment a new dimension of being and understanding of my life with God opened to me. But I still can not explain it fully. During my puberty period my worldly friends wanted to turn me away from the correct path, but strong attraction to the Bible steadied me. Then I was admitted into the Bible college” Church Life” in Almatii, Kazakhstan. After the college, I entered the Kazakhstan Evangelical Christian Seminary a two year program, upon graduation I was sent to MECS for the advanced training.
What are your plans for future ministry after graduation?
I want to become a teacher of Theology, if it is the will of God I want to become a Dr. of Theology and teach at the Seminary, disciple new students eligible to proclaim the kingdom of God. |
